One of the most confusing truths about relationships is that love can remain after the relationship stops being workable.

You can know somebody is wrong for your future and still want to hold them.

You can know trust is gone and still miss their voice.

You can understand that the same pattern will hurt you again and still feel devastated at the thought of leaving.

That does not mean your clarity is false.

It means attachment does not switch off when a decision becomes clear.

Love and viability are different questions

Ask these separately:

Do I love this person?

Can I build a healthy, workable life with this person as the relationship actually exists?
