Most couples do not wake up one morning and say, “Our relationship has a responsiveness problem.”
They say things like:
“We’re fine. We just argue about stupid things.”
“I don’t know what happened to us.”
“We love each other, but I don’t feel close anymore.”
“I do everything.”
“Nothing I do is ever enough.”
“We don’t really fight. We just don’t talk.”
“We still have sex, but it feels different.”
“I know they love me. I’m just not sure I feel chosen.”
