After cheating, people often say the person who betrayed trust needs to be "completely transparent."
That phrase sounds clear until the couple tries to live it.
Does transparency mean sharing passwords?
Sending location?
Answering every question?
Giving up privacy forever?
Real transparency has a purpose.
It reduces uncertainty while trust is weak and gives the injured partner enough evidence to see whether the story and the behaviour match.
It should not become the permanent architecture of the relationship.
